Our Versa-Bar Cast Iron

Versa-Bar’s distinctive metallurgical characteristics make it superior to conventional sand castings for many applications. Our continuous cast iron is embedded with microscopic graphite flakes or spheres, which include tiny recesses to retain oil. This means lubricated components maintain their lubrication for longer, and the finely dispersed graphite acts as a self-lubricant if oil is lost.
